Super Pump Bros Whitepaper
(Draft v1.0)
Abstract
Super Pump Bros is a browser-based 2D fighting game that combines competitive gameplay, wallet-gated access, online PvP battles, and community-driven rewards. Built on the Solana ecosystem, Super Pump Bros allows eligible token holders to access the game, compete against AI or other players, unlock fighters through an in-game store, and participate in a transparent reward economy.
The project focuses on creating a fun competitive game first, while using blockchain technology only where it adds meaningful value: identity, ownership, rewards, and wager verification.
Vision
Most blockchain games fail because they prioritize speculation over gameplay.
Super Pump Bros follows a different approach:
Gameplay First Blockchain Second
The objective is to build a genuinely enjoyable fighting game where blockchain infrastructure enhances the player experience rather than replacing it.
Players should want to play because the game is fun. Rewards, ownership, and competition are additional layers that increase engagement.
Core Principles
Gameplay First
The fighting game experience remains the primary focus.
Fair Competition
Skill should be rewarded more than spending power.
Transparent Rewards
Reward distributions and leaderboard calculations will be public and verifiable.
Accessible Ownership
Players can unlock characters without requiring NFTs.
Community Growth
Long-term rewards are designed to encourage active participation rather than passive holding.
Platform Overview
Super Pump Bros is a browser-based game playable worldwide.
Supported devices:
- Desktop browsers
- Mobile browsers (future)
- Web-enabled gaming devices (future)
No installation is required.
Players connect a supported Solana wallet and immediately gain access to the ecosystem.
Wallet Integration
Supported wallets:
- Phantom
- Solflare
- Backpack
Wallets serve as:
- Authentication
- Identity verification
- Character ownership verification
- Reward distribution destination
The wallet address acts as the permanent player identifier.
Token Holder Access
To participate, players must hold a minimum amount of the project's designated SPL token.
Example:
Minimum Requirement: 100,000 Tokens
Wallet eligibility is verified through blockchain data before access is granted.
This creates alignment between the game's player base and its supporting community.
Player Profiles
Every player creates a profile after connecting a wallet.
Profile data includes:
- Username
- Wallet address
- PvP statistics
- PvE statistics
- Character ownership
- Seasonal rankings
The wallet remains the source of truth for player identity.
Game Modes
Player vs CPU
Single-player mode allows users to practice and compete for leaderboard positions.
Features:
- Multiple difficulty levels
- Score tracking
- Win streak tracking
- Seasonal rankings
Online PvP
Players compete against other players in real-time matches.
Features:
- Matchmaking queues
- Multiple wager brackets
- Competitive rankings
- Seasonal rewards
Matchmaking System
Players choose a wager bracket before entering the queue.
Example brackets:
0.01 SOL 0.10 SOL 0.25 SOL 0.40 SOL 0.50 SOL
Players selecting the same bracket are grouped into a matchmaking queue.
When two players are available:
Queue ↓ Match Found ↓ Room Created ↓ Fight Begins
Wager System
Players may optionally participate in wager matches.
Workflow:
Choose Wager ↓ Approve Transaction ↓ Join Queue ↓ Fight ↓ Winner Receives Pot
Only players with verified deposits may enter a wager queue.
This prevents abuse and fake matchmaking entries.
Bros Coins & Faucet
Bros Coins are the primary in-game currency earned by participating in matches and completing quests.
They can be used for:
- Purchasing characters and cosmetics in the store
- Exchanging for real SOL via the Faucet
The Faucet
The Solana Faucet allows players to exchange a set amount of Bros Coins (e.g., 500) for real SOL (e.g., 0.01 SOL) sent directly to their connected wallet.
To ensure sustainability, the Faucet automatically opens for 1 hour every 5 hours when the in-game countdown timer hits zero, allowing only one claim per player per cycle.
Pool Growth: Every in-game purchase (characters, cosmetics, etc.) adds directly to the Faucet pool. As the ecosystem pool increases, the available Faucet rewards increase alongside it!
Daily Quests
Players can complete Daily Quests to earn Bros Coins and increase their engagement.
Quests reset every 24 hours and include challenges such as:
- Winning a certain number of Local or Online matches
- Dealing a specific amount of damage
- Playing specific game modes
Character System
Super Pump Bros uses an unlockable character model.
Characters are:
- Not NFTs
- Not unique
- Not supply-limited
Any player may purchase and unlock available characters.
Ownership is recorded in the platform database and linked to the player's wallet.
Character Store
Players can purchase new fighters using:
- SOL
- Project SPL Token
Each fighter may support:
- SOL only
- Token only
- Both payment methods
Example:
Shadow Ninja 0.25 SOL or 50,000 Tokens
Character Ownership
Ownership is stored per wallet.
Example:
Wallet A → Shadow Ninja Wallet B → Shadow Ninja Wallet C → Shadow Ninja
Multiple users may own the same fighter.
The goal is accessibility rather than scarcity.
Future Cosmetic System
Future updates may introduce:
- Skins
- Seasonal cosmetics
- Event-exclusive cosmetics
- Leaderboard reward cosmetics
Examples:
Gold Shadow Ninja Inferno Shadow Ninja Diamond Shadow Ninja
These cosmetics may become a key progression and reward mechanism.
Leaderboards
Local Wins Leaderboard
Tracks the top players with the most wins against the CPU in Local Mode.
- Wins
- Win streaks
- Performance score
Online Winnings Leaderboard
Tracks the most profitable fighters based on SOL earned from Online PvP wagers.
- SOL Earned
- Match Wins
- Wager participation
Top leaderboard players at the end of the season will receive exclusive rewards, including Bros Coins, Cosmetics, or even SOL prize pools!
Seasonal Competition
Competition occurs in seasons.
Example:
30 Day Season

- Rankings reset
- Rewards distributed
- New competition begins
This allows new players to remain competitive.
Reward Economy
A portion of ecosystem revenue may be allocated to player rewards.
Potential reward sources:
- Platform revenue
- Ecosystem incentives
- Sponsorships
- Community treasury
Example reward structure:
Rank #1: 5% Rank #2: 3% Rank #3: 2% Rank #4: 1% Rank #5: 1%
Final percentages will be determined by governance and sustainability considerations.
Security

Ecosystem Administration
To ensure a fair and dynamic community environment, Super Pump Bros utilizes a robust set of moderation and economic controls managed by ecosystem administrators.
Player Moderation
The platform maintains strict anti-cheat and anti-botting policies. Administrators possess the ability to look up and ban malicious actors, permanently preventing their wallets from accessing the game.
Global Broadcasts
Important ecosystem updates, tournament announcements, and seasonal events are pushed directly to active players via non-intrusive, real-time in-game broadcast notifications.
Economic Controls
The administration team can manually adjust in-game currency balances (Bros Coins) to resolve disputes, issue tournament prizes, or reward active community members.
